Pharmacom's molecule profiling systems are designed to detect specific
biomarkers of infectious diseases (e.g. SARS, AIDS, West Niles), cancers (e.g.
ovarian cancer, lung cancer), and neurodegeneration diseases (e.g. Alzheimer’s,
Parkinson's); identify signature molecules of pathogens (e.g. E.coli
strains,
Mad Cow Disease viruses) and epidemical factors of allergies (e.g. Asthma,
Flu); and determine drug contents and diary substances (e.g. medicine for
diabetes).
The biochip, (including DNA chip, protein chip, or other microfabrication-based
chip which we are developing), is one of the primary components in the molecule microprofiling system. The diagnostics, detection and determination of the
samples can be performed at five levels: molecule residue, single molecule,
molecule complex, cellular subfaction or living cell, depending on the
circumstances of the test.
