The integrated analysis of genetic, protein, metabolite, cellular, and pathway events has become known as
Systems Biology. We believe that it necessitates the use of a variety of platform technologies as well as sophisticated bioinformatics,
computational biology, and knowledge management. However, while genes provide considerable insight into disease
mechanisms, they are not the active agents, whereas protein and metabolite regulation are direct causative factors.
Pharmacom's biotech platform is based on the integration of state-of-the-art technologies and interfaced with
four areas: constructing genomic/proteomic libraries, designing antibioterrorism detection systems, inventing
biosensors and bioreactors, and implementing pharmaceutical databases.
