  Microprofiling

The microprofiling technology we are developing combines advances in microfluidics, optical engineering, and novel labeling solutions. It allows analyze individual molecules of DNA, RNA, and proteins at single molecule level without the need for amplification. The technology will be extended into a broad range of life sciences applications in research, drug discovery, diagnostics, and personal genomics.

Pharmacom's microprofiling systems provide off-the-shelf and stand-alone solutions that enable highly sensitive, fully automated multiplexed DNA or protein analysis and process data through a wireless interface that is coupling with global databases.

  • Directly target pathogens — Start the process of sampling and analysis from pathogens not from pre-purified molecules
  • Paralleled sampling and analysis — enables analysis of multiple samples simultaneously, resulting in a broader understanding of the biology and mechanism of action of specified genes
  • Time effective — automates the labor-intensive steps associated with manual immunoassay processing or multi-procedure PCR
  • Less samples — requires significantly less sample volume per data point compared with conventional PCRs or ELISAs.
  • Enhanced sensitivity and selectivity — greatly reduced the ratio of signal and noise which is benefited from the paralleled sampling and analysis.
