The bioinformatics scientist will be involved in our research team that includes molecular biologist, nanotechnologist, software engineers, and electronic engineer. The duties will include: - Gathering, comparing and compiling information relating to interactions between biomolecules from the published literature and from data generated in-house. –Use of biological databases and bioinformatics analysis tools. - Participating in projects covering a wide range of cellular and molecular biology to render analytical bioinformatics support. The ideal candidate is a Ph.D./M.D. or M.Sc. with a solid knowledge of cellular biology, preferably with experience in the detection and analysis of molecular interactions. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and broad knowledge in one or more of the following subject areas: signal transduction pathways, regulation of gene expression, metabolic pathways in any organism or biophysical measurement of molecular interactions and/or enzyme kinetics. Experience with ORACLE/LINUX/UNIX would be an asset.
